It looks like the third season of Eastbound & Down wasn’t its last after all.
Fans will be happy to know that HBO has ordered a fourth season of the baseball comedy series. It will consist of eight new episodes, which will continue the misadventures of burned-out MLB player Kenny Powers, played by Danny McBride. It will hit the airwaves next year.
The third season of Eastbound & Down finished airing back in April, and many had expected it to be the show’s final year. Eastbound & Down: The Animated Series is also on the way, and will arrive in 2013. If you can’t wait until then, the complete third season will come home on Blu-ray this August.
